UPDATES

* The Lineal Boxing Champion monthly ratings are produced by an international panel of 11 boxing analysts. Boxers are ranked according to ability and accomplishments in their respective weight classes. Fighters may be removed if they have been inactive for over 18 months and still have no fights scheduled.

Super Middleweight

Savannah Marshall defeated champion, Franchon Crews-Dezurn, to become Lineal Queen at 168lb. With Dezurn-Crews dropping to #1, everyone shifts down one place, resulting in Sonya Dreiling exiting the top-five.

Middleweight

Savannah Marshall exits, following her move up to become champion at 168lb. Kozin and Hermans, who are now concentrating on the 154lb division, also exit. Cornejo and Ngubane move into the top two spots, reepectively, and Olivia Curry, Irais Hernandez and Ellis Hopkins all enter at #3 - #5.

Junior Middleweight

On July 1st, Natasha Jonas beat Kandi Wyatt to win the vacant IBF 147lb title. Over the last few months Jonas and her team have admitted that they have declined an offer to fight Claressa Shields ta 154lb, have expressed they have no interest in fighting Terri Harper to unify ABC titles at 154lb, and following the Wyatt fight, declared they are aiming to now fight Katie Taylor and/or Chantelle Cameron at lower weight classes. As such, Jonas exits our 154lb ratings. Berghult, Spencer and Hermans each move up one place. Ema Kozin enters at #5.

Welterweight

Natasha Jonas enters at #3, following her recent win over Kandi Wyatt. Habazin falls to #4 and Houle drops to #5. Lauren Price exits the ratings.

* The Lineal Boxing Champion monthly ratings are produced by an international panel of 11 boxing analysts. Boxers are ranked according to ability and accomplishments in their respective weight classes. Fighters may be removed if they have been inactive for over 18 months and still have no fights scheduled.

Junior Lightweight

Maiva Hamadouche’s retirement announcement has resulted in Persoon, Choi, Shin and Mekhaled all moving up a place (however, even without this retirement, Persoon’s victory over Shin would have likely elevated her to #1 anyway). Ramona Graeff enters at #5.

Welterweight

Lauren Price enters at #5 following her 10-round-shout-out victory over Kirstie Bavington on May 6th, nudging Summer Lynne out of the top five.

Junior Middleweight

In 2020 Harper/Jonas fought to a split decision draw; since then, both have performed well at 154lbs. Jonas ended 2022 at #1, but still hasn’t fought this year, and has ruled herself out of potential fights with Claressa Shields and Harper. Terri Harper defated Hannah Rankin in 2022 and on May 27th, followed that up by unanimously outpointing former Shields junior middleweight opponent and current top-5 welterweight, Ivana Habazin – this was just enough to move Harper up one place In our ratings, switching places with Jonas.

Super middleweight

Diana Castro exits, as her last two fights have been at 154lbs – Sonya Dreiling replaces her, entering at #5.

P4P

Chantelle Cameron’s majority decision victory over Katie Taylor, in Dublin, Ireland, moves her to No.2, with Taylor and Serrano each getting nudged down a place.
